Our client Kenzie Therapeutics - founded by Dr. Charlie McKenzie - created a revolutionary Intra-Oral Microstomia Prevention Apparatus to help in the recovery of patients with facial burns.

Client’s Request

In 2024 Kenzie Therapeutics LLC approached us with a request to create a custom instruction video for their (2) appliances.

Our goal was to make a clear-minimal instruction video:

  • Easy for quick presentations

  • Shows the simplicity of the Appliance

  • Simple and clear

Our Approach

Our approach to helping our clients will always be unique to their specific, wants, needs and availability. Below marks the approach that we took with Kenzie Therapeutics to deliver on their request and our goals.

Discovery Call - Outline - Script

Our team of animators set out to meet Kenzie’s expectations by first meeting with the client on a discovery call to ask questions to better understand the wants and needs of the client. Once we had established a basic outline of all the clients desires and pain points our team of script writers began writing the script, which was then presented to the client for approval.

Storyboard

Once the script was approved our team of Storyboard and Instruction Designers began coming up with the direction of the animation, look and feel, and concepts which were then presented to the client. With the clients pass off of the storyboard we now entered the stage of animation.

Animation

Using the storyboard as a blueprint, our team of animators and CAD designers began creating the 3D models, environments and animations to create the customized training. The animation was then presented to the client.

Feedback & Revisions

Upon initially reviewing the animation the client was more than pleased, adding a few requests and revisions. One of the requests came later after the project was to focus on the maximum distance of ladder’s inside the trench and adding signage and tape around the trench. Once the changes were made the final deliverable was sent to the client.
